Since walls can't travel to me, I travel to them.

Architecture taught her how to see space. Muralism taught her what to do with it.
She studied architecture. Then she looked at the career waiting on the other side of the screen and decided it wasn't the shape of life she wanted.
So the early years looked like this: waiting tables. Selling sweets on the beach. Trading murals for a place to sleep. Painting in one country, then the next, until the walls added up to a portfolio and the portfolio added up to a profession.
Nothing about it was a shortcut. It was simply the only version of the job that could travel with her.
She didn't wait for a studio.
She found a wall.
Before painting walls, she learned how spaces work.
Now she changes how they feel.
Organic forms, large illustrative shapes, black outlines, unexpected colour combinations — and just as often, geometry and concept. The work is not only flowers.
