About Kathleen Dieux

She didn't plan a normal career. She found a wall.

Architecture taught her how to understand space. Traveling muralism taught her what to do with it.

Since walls can't travel to me, I travel to them.

Architecture as Creative Authority

Her architectural foundation shapes how every mural is composed: honoring natural daylight, sightlines, structural materials, room proportions, and human circulation.

Kathleen Dieux studied architecture before realizing that a career confined to computer monitors didn't reflect the shape of the life she wanted to live.

Instead of waiting for a conventional design firm to commission her or waiting for a physical studio, she set out into the world with brushes, pigments, and curiosity.

The early years were defined by grit and relentless creative hustle: working as a waitress, selling sweets on the beach, and trading hand-painted murals for accommodation in hostels across continents.

One wall led to the next, one country led to another, until the walls became an international portfolio and the portfolio grew into an independent, full-time career that can travel anywhere in the world.

Scale as Canvas

Art transforms profoundly when it becomes larger than the human viewer. Walls become immersive environments.

Authentic Humanity

Every stroke is painted by hand. While technology aids precision, the human signature and imperfection remain sacred.
